What is my Customer ID or User ID?

(Many of our customers call to ask this question)

We realize this can be a bit confusing and have joked with our customers that they should have this tattooed on their wrist as a gentle reminder. You don't need to go to such extremes and it is easy once you know how our Customer ID or User ID's are generated.

The first two characters of your customer ID are alphabetical, the next two or three characters are numerical.

The first two alpha characters are generated from your last name or your business name.

For example: if G&S Inc. set up an account, our customer ID would start off with GS, if we were the first GS in the database the numerical portion would be 01 (zero, one) making our Customer ID: GS01 (Alpha/Numeric).

We know it makes it difficult at times when your customer ID is: OI01 which is upper case "O" (o not zero) and upper case "I" (i), (OI) with the numbers zero one (01) following.

Forgot your ID? Go to www.gsgold.com click on: Forgotten Password located on the left hand column under HELPFUL INFO. Your customer ID and password will be sent to your email.

We hope that this helps you and look forward to your next order.

FRAUD ALERT

At G&S Metals/ Refiners we are always concerned about our customers’ security.

In this age of high credit card theft, G&S Metals/Refiners has initiated a new policy for your benefit.  Although you may find it inconvenient at times, we believe that you will be thankful later.

If you place an order with a “SHIP TO” address that differs from the “SOLD TO” address on your credit card, you will be required to contact your bank and add this address to your credit card profile before we can ship your order.

ALL ORDERS REQUESTING A DIFFERENT “SHIP TO” ADDRESS FROM THE “SOLD TO” ADDRESS WILL BE VERIFIED WITH YOUR BANK.  This may delay your shipment if your bank hasn’t been advised of the new “SHIP TO” address.

KEEPING YOU SAFE!
