This is the same base used in 14/20 gold filled material. G&S Metals recommends that you clearly identify the Silver-Filled. We are using a "green" label to designate that it is Silver-Filled. It really looks great and could easily be confused with sterling silver. Our customers have reported that they have had great success with it. There has been no flaking or peeling. Yes, it is made in the USA.
