Responsible jewelry production starts with your supplier. G&S Metals/Refiners uses refined gold and silver in their production of fabricated products. Recycled metals are an important component of our products and exemplify the commitment G&S Metals/Refiners has to the environment. As a Refiner we produce our own pure elements which are then mixed with other alloys for fabricated products.
G&S Metals/ Refiners mission is to provide quality products that are almost entirely made in the United States and are 90% eco friendly. By using recycled metals, we decrease the global demand for newly mined gold and diminish the environmentally and socially destructive effects of dirty gold and other metal mining practices. Because precious metals can be recycled repeatedly with no degradation in quality, they are a naturally renewable resource.
